For those that love the process of creation.
Haven’t you ever been stuck on creating something extraordinary?
Well…
I know I have been there many times, and to be honest it’s not a place I want to be in.
Ever since I started to work from home and most of the time I am working from the comfort of my own home
I get to work on Image Creations which I then share to the Social Media accounts.
Two of my favorites are Instagram and Pinterest. Those Mediums are all about Images, as I m sure you already know.
Those Media accounts I visit multiple times a day to get inspired and add images I absolutely love. So sometimes there could be moments in time when I seriously draw blank space and its rather hard to get inspired and I would like to share few tips with you on HOW I get Inspired and what Inspires me.
1. Think of what would you like to work on today?
Go through your do to list from last week, follow up on things you haven’t had the chance to accomplish yet,
and make sure you can complete them before you create your new to do list.
2. Create an action plan or a schedule.
Set up a Daily routine Schedule of your To Do list, what you want to accomplish throughout the day;
Dedicate specific time for each task, say you want to read a book, do it for 30 minutes and mark your calendar you will be reading that book from 9:00 – 9:30 am every morning. Continue your schedule of following up on emails for another 30 minutes right after and so on.
Make sure to turn off any distractions during the time of creation, as that my friend is a huge. Some of the distractions that unable me to work flawlessly is Social Media notifications.
3. Think of a Platform you want to create your Inspiration today.
Choose a Social Media Platform you use mostly and think of a way how this content you create is reflected on that platform. Its absolutely necessary to do that, as every platform has its unique distinct way of how the content appears. As how you post on Facebook will absolutely look and feel different on Google Plus, and so on.
4. Go through your photos.
Goring through my photos helps me identify my memories of the travels. Which then Inspires me to create a Blog post along with additional text over images I will then use. For example, in the main image of this post, I used a picture of the Umbrella Fountains, I’ve taken, while visiting the Westchester Mall, to see and spend time with kids at the Lego City.
5. Pick an Image Creation Tool you would like to use.
One of my favorite Image Creation Tools I absolutely Love to use is Canva. If you haven’t heard or seen it yet, I absolutely recommend you do it now because its the easiest graphic design tool out there, with tutorial and ton of templates created.
6. Select a Template or Search for Ideas of what your Image should look like.
Best way I like to get inspired of what my next image should look like, I simply go to Google and type key words for what I m looking for and then choose “image” to see what else is available. From then my creation process begins.
7. Start Creating.
Get outside and get inspired and start taking pictures even with your smart phone, which you will then keep and use towards your marketing and social sharing just like it shown in the image below.
Find a place in the city you live, which you truly appreciate and admire, get out and get there as much as you can so you can start thinking outside the box per say, get your imagination going of what you can on to those images and which Social Media site you can share them to.
Of Course these 7 step process is my basic way on how I get inspired, and this perhaps can inspire you to get motivated and get your creative juices flowing.
What Inspired me to write this blog post was because it’s December and its a Holiday Season, lots of you have been busy with planing your holiday shopping and thinking about your upcoming time you’ll be spending with your family and friends. With that I would like to encourage you to “Get Outside and Get Inspired“.
